summer is fast approaching

I'm alive. Just busy with the pains....err, I mean joys of summertime fun. We bought an inflatable pool which is swiftly filling up with grass, sand from the nearby sandbox, and dead ear wigs. Those have to be the stupidest bugs ever created.

Got a big vacay coming up at the end of the month. We're going to Florida to visit the hubs' grandparents....so exciting. I'm told you can see the water from their house; plus it's free accomodations! They live in Niceville (I'll be the judge of that), near Pensacola.

We're stopping in Atlanta on the way down to see the Redsox play the Braves, and I think going to Florida is just the excuse the hubs used to be able to do that. I've been told that I need to go ahead pick out and purchase my Sox fan gear.

I'm really not looking forward to the car ride!!!! Ender doesn't do well on long trips, so I'm going to start putting together an activity arsenal pretty soon. Note to self: make a Rush mixed CD. Something about Geddy Lee's voice just does it for my kid.
